As I live and breathe!

Holy Shit, I got the bad one. Here is how this sucker kills ya.

First, you wake up at 1 in the morning thinking you are either having wonderful sex, or in the middle of a major earth quake! My bed was shaking that bad. I soon realized it was me! I had such a high fever, I was shaking. I crawled out of bed, found the Tylenol and took my temp. 101.5 yea not good. For the next five days, my temp refused to get under 102. No matter how much Tylenol I fed my body, it remained with a high fever.

By Thursday, I was broke down enough I went to the clinic. Here's the answer to my big question, did I have the bad one. We don't know, it will cost you $64 dollars to find out and because you are allergic to NSAIDS, it won't matter. We can't treat you any different than what you are doing. High fluids, bed rest and Tylenol. However, if you totally dehydrate or it turns to pneumonia, we can put you in the hospital and make you all better.

Constantly drinking power drinks and life water, I could not get hydrated. We're talking my skin would tent, my eyes had to be constantly hydrated with drops and my bed was my life!

The first week, I could not go to work, they have rules about dead people working in their kitchen. The second week, I was allowed to work two days as scheduled. I however, am very glad they did not had me scheduled for more, I would not have made it.

Week two, even with all the precautions, it made it into that bad ear. We all know how much fun that is for me. We are pour drugs to it. Nothing more I can do.

I am exhausted from this. I understand how people die from this. I am a very healthy person and this sucker has knocked me to the ground, stomped my face in, ripped both lungs out and shoved em up my butt.. but I'm still alive. If someone was not healthy to start with, or had underlying health issues, they could not beat this.. it's that simple.

So, while I still do not have much energy, and I am still fighting it.. it's a nasty whore. If you think you have it, you go to the doctor right away.. if you THINK you have this one.. you go.. don't let it get ahead of you.. you won't win..

So, that is me and my life right now.. and I'm signing off for the weekend..

ps,, my coffee pot did not get turned on for 8 days.. me. the coffee freak.. had no coffee.. and a total of 10 smokes.. in 8 days. this is your only warning for this illness.. it's a bad one folks..

Dutchess has been down with it for almost three weeks. It got in her ears right away.. she's deaf in both ears.. has no energy.. and is more of a bitch than I am.. he he.. Love that hooker to death.. but she's a nasty sick person! lol
